Annie is a left hander from Hong Kong who has made a great impression as a junior. Not only winning British Junior Open titles but also the Champion of the Asian Junior, and being a member of the Hong Kong team which won the world juniors is also on her record.

She started playing squash at 13 through a school promotional scheme. She combines squash well with study and intends to carry on doing so at university.

In 2007, Annie won the NSC Satellite No 1 and was the runner-up at the No 2. She also reached the semi-final at No 3 and 4. At the Super Satellite no 2 in June, she was beaten by compatriot Rebecca in the semi-finals. At the 2007 Crocodile Challenge Cup in Hong Kong, she reached the last eight before losing to Sharon Wee of Malaysia.

At junior level, she had achieved better results. She took the Bronze Medal at the Hoe Hin White Flower Ointment world junior women’s champions and was the champion of the Hong Kong Junior Open 2007.
